February is the perfect time for a vision board refresh! The excitement of the new year has settled, and winter can start to feel long – but a vision board can reignite motivation and help focus on what truly matters. My good friend Laura and I co-hosted a Vision Board Workshop together a few weeks ago at her workout studio, Pure Barre in Darien, CT. We gathered a group of amazing like-minded women who all wanted to create their own vision board, and we all had a great time doing our vision boards together.

Here’s a simple guide to creating (or updating) one:
1. Reflect on Your Goals
Take a moment to check in with yourself. What goals still excite you? What have you been manifesting? What needs adjusting? Whether it’s wellness, relationships, adventure, professional or personal growth, a vision board should reflect where you’re headed.
2. Gather Your Supplies
You’ll need:
- A board (poster, corkboard, or digital option like Canva)
- Magazines, printed images, or inspirational quotes
- Scissors, glue, and markers for personalization
3. Choose Your Theme
A vision board can focus on:
- A word of the year (e.g., Balance, Joy, Growth, Strength)
- A specific goal (fitness, career, travel)
- An overall life vision
4. Curate Your Inspiration
Find images and words that spark motivation. Think beyond material things — including feelings, experiences, and reminders of how you want to live.
5. Arrange & Assemble
Place your most important goals in the center and build around them. Make it visually appealing so you’ll want to look at it every day!
6. Display It Where You’ll See It
Put it somewhere visible – your office, bedroom, or even as your phone wallpaper. The more you see it, the more intentional your actions will be.
7. Take Small, Aligned Actions
A vision board is not magic; it is simply a guide. Set small, actionable steps to make your dreams a reality.
Keep manifesting what you want and then you must put in the work to accomplish your goals. Go for it!!!

If you already have completed a vision board from this past January, now is also a great time to update it. Remove anything that no longer resonates and add fresh inspiration. I know my vision board is a work in progress. Also, vision boards are a great activity to do with your kids. Start ’em young!
Your vision is your reality! Let’s dream big together in 2025.
