Feel Good 2021 Check List

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to the start of 2021! What a whirlwind life has been lately. Not much has really changed since the new year started even though we wish things had changed! We are still wearing masks and my kids are home this week for virtual learning.

I have a few things on my mind as we enter this new month and this new year. Before I rush into setting goals for 2021, I am actually just thinking….just sitting…just “being”. I am also actually really tired as I write this so I am taking the start of the new year slowly this time instead of my usual rushing into it. (Aren’t we all really tired these days?) Here is my list of ideas to help me feel good in 2021. I hope this list helps you and I also hope you will add to this list and share it with me too. Remember we are #BetterTogether!

A few good things on my check-list:

✔️ More water!! Who wants to join me?

✔️ Finish one real book…I am already on my way with this one as I am reading “Notes on a Silencing” by Lacey Crawford.

✔️ Try not to be so sensitive (hard for me but I can and will work on this).

✔️ Early bedtime (I must stay on track with this! I do not want to be so tired!).

✔️ Gratitude 5-minute journal. I am already liking my new, “The Five Minute Journal” from @IntelligentChange.

✔️ Eat healthy by adding more greens + colorful veggies. (How much cheese did I eat over Christmas break? LOL.)

✔️ Exercise consistently (movement is our therapy).

✔️ Always be a cheerleader for others, to lift others up, and support them.

This list is a work in progress, but I wanted to get it out there and get the conversations started with you all. I am off to work on my list, I am focusing on gratitude each morning with my “The Five Minute Journal”. My question for all of us is, what will you be immensely grateful for this year? That is something we can all feel good about in 2021.

Here’s to more good news ahead.

With love and gratitude,

xoxo NBC
