A new movie about former President Ronald Reagan is set to debut this week on August 30th.
This is not a political post, this is simply a post about a movie that takes you on a historic walk down memory lane.
Recently I had the opportunity to go see a VIP screening of the “Reagan” movie in New York City with my husband, thanks to a good friend, Alexis Walkenstein, who is working on the publicity for the movie.
As someone who grew up in the 1980’s when Reagan was President, this movie resonated with me. I loved watching the historical events unfold in the movie that jogged my memory about what was going on in the world when I was growing up. But my absolute favorite part of the movie was witnessing the beautiful and powerful love story between Ronald Reagan and his second wife, Nancy. “Ronnie” was the nickname she gave him, and I just loved watching how deeply devoted Ronnie and Nancy were to one another. I truly believe there would never have been a President Reagan without Nancy.
Putting politics aside, this movie is great for everyone to see!
Jeff and I give it a 10 out of 10! The stars of the movie are all amazing in their roles, and I want to give a special thank you to the lead actor in the film, Dennis Quaid, for giving us this special shout out.
Musical legend Bob Dylan performed a wonderful song for the movie soundtrack too. I have always loved his music!
We hope you go see “Reagan” in theaters on 8/30, and we hope you love it too!
Thank you for being here,
xoxo Nina
